This morning we had our ultrasound for Baby#3. Aunt Emily came with us and we were also able to take Abby. I think Abby was more concerned about Mommy laying on the table than interested in looking at the baby. She asked if I was ok or if I was hurting and she rubbed my arm. It was very sweet.
The technician wasn't able to tell the sex of the baby, which we weren't sure if we wanted to know or not anyway. David would like to be surprised this time. I wouldn't mind being surprised, but the thought of having a boy after 2 girls is a little overwhelming when I think about the things I would like/need to update and buy for a little boy. I guess that's just my planning personality coming out.
I do have to go for a 3-D ultrasound in 2 weeks because the baby's head is so low. They want to make sure there is no risk of me going in to labor. The doctor said there is nothing to be concerned about and that the baby could just be so low because this is my 3rd baby or because I'm busy taking care of 2 small kids. So we'll see....
